Essendon Airfields is in the process of undergoing major redevelopments which includes, a new hotel complex and conference centre, with associated car parking, food and beverage facilities and landscaping. BMD Urban were contracted to construct all the roads and drainage, while relocating existing underground services.
Due to this being a high profile government project and the nature of the works, extra precautions were put in place to make sure all underground services were protected while excavation works were being done. 30xy were subcontracted to find and prove all existing services in the area using Non-destructive digging. 30xy supplied BMD with Non-destructive digging trucks during the duration of the project.
Over the course of the project 30xy successfully provided BMD with an excellent service, helping to reducing the risk of underground services being damaged. 30xy completed all works in the scheduled timeframes taking into account a number of challenges encountered such as working in conjunction with the public and other contractors on the project.
